Man is physically as well as metaphysically a thing of shreds and patches, borrowed unequally from good and bad ancestors, and a misfit from the start.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson~
And so I begin . . . once more.
For the last 6 or 7 years I have been researching my ancestors for 2 reasons: intrigue and temple work. I have submitted numerous names, participated in many, many ordinance sessions (along with many of my family and friends), and gained great joy and satisfaction with what I have accomplished. Since Aliah was born, I am ashamed to say, that I have not submitted a single name. I have, to make myself feel better, updated my Personal Ancestral File with new additions to the family.
I am starting this new online journal to hopefully give myself a kick start back into doing what I have loved doing. I do realize that while I am living in Georgia, I will be limited in my resources, I will, nonetheless, attempt to get something done. I would like to use this space to post photos, stories, and recent updates in my work.
To those that view my page, thank you, and to those who are descendants of these wonderful people - -anywhere in the world- we are so blessed to know who we came from. Feel free to add remarks, comments, and post your own stories (remember, however, that inappropriate listings will be deleted at the administrator's discretion.)
I love this photo. Taken in Spanish Fork, Utah it is of the Bearnson Girls. Pictured starting back right then counter clockwise: Sarah Ellen, Mildred, Hannah Sophia (Fay), Elva Christine, Wilma Gudney, and Bertha Wilborg.
